360 Head turns ?

So, I want to progress my animation skills and take things to the next level. I want my character heads to be able to do 360 turns. As Far as Layers go, could anyone tell me the best way to set up the face by layer.

- Eyes
- nose
- Mouth
- Face
- ect....

Is it better to start from front view and then make 3/4 and side views ? What is the best technique ? Masking, Blend Morph ? ect....

If someone could help me out this would really save me a lot of time for the next job I have.. Any input or suggestion as to where to start would be very appreciated as well =)

Even when 360 head turns are rarely needed and many times it's better to animate them "by hand" instead of making a whole rig for that task, I recommend you to check this tutorial I made some months ago:

This is amazing.I've been messing around with this technique for a little bit ... I will post some stuff using this techinque asap =)
