Ok I seriously cannot get Rudigers MorphDials to work...

I have it installed in the proper folders (I thin) and the example file it comes with works, but I cannot figure out how to even begin using my own character. And also why is there a masked version of the face on the demo file? I have been watching Funksmaname's tutorials over and over and he doesnt seem to be using any masking. I like his tutorials and the way he teaches but I feel like im jumping in the middle of something I missed half of. Do any videos exist that show very step by step how the characters eye qnd mouth are created and then applied to morphdials? What are the purpose of the create morph and bake effect buttons? Someone please help. this seems like such a useful tool if I could just get my head around it. Thanks so much!

Hello mr.negative72,
The basic premise is that the construction has nothing to do with MDs. You can build your character however you want. All MDs do is mix in a pre-made action pose to eachother, and the current frame. So if you create an action where your mouth smiles, then assign that to a bone, you can mix in various degrees of 'smile' to the current pose.

The more obvious possible problem you're having is that you are using debut not pro? if so, you can't create actions, and therefore can't use MDs in your own creations...

Im using pro 8. I am just technologically impaired. I am new to all of the scripting and custom tools aspects of AS and personally I face a steep learning curve! Thanks for talking the time to offer your advice. Much appreciated.
