Intersecting points when using the line draw tool!!!

I would love if the add points tool or a line tool could be added to the AS tools that would intersect the way flash does. Such as in this video.

It seems really odd that AS doesn't have this feature already because when using the freehand tool, it actually does this automatically. It's bizarre that AS doesn't have this feature because it would make perspective drawings for backgrounds super easy! Not to mention that creating complex shapes would take FAR less time if straight lines could just be drawn and modified without having to validate them all! PLEASE!!!!! Make a freehand tool that draws straight lines if you can! Still the best animation program in the world,....but I'm sorry...I must design some backgrounds.....in......flash.........please....FORGIVE ME!!!! :)
