Hello I'm pretty new to Anime Studio Pro and been messing around with a relative easy cartoon. The first few seconds of my animation were not a problem but now I want to change the scene.
I don't know how to make a layer (wich i don't want to throw away) dissapaer at a certain keyframe and visa versa I don't know how to make something appaer out of nothing at a certain keyframe. Is the last one because I made all the items in frame 0?
I hope my English isn't to bad and somebody understands my question
You don't necessary need to do te new scene in the same project.
Save your project, then save another copy of it and use the "clear animation from document", in this way you will have a copy of your project ready to be modified freely.
Another way is to save your characters separately and then import them in every new scene you need.
But if you will do everything in the same project, use the switch layers, they will show only one layer at time when you need it. You can use it to switch two or more different backgrounds.
Go to edit/preferences and turn off "Enable drawing tools only on frame 1" then drag the timeline to where you want your new scene to start and create a new layer. It will be invisible only up until that point on the timeline. Of course you will have to turn off visibility at that point for your old layer .
That's one way to do it but there are many more ways you can do this in AS.
