... render a preview without receiving the "blip"

thought perhaps that's what the audio feedback option was there for but alas checking this does nothing for it:/
what am i missing? it's quite infuriating not being able to listen to music on the same system i'm running this on due to the extreme blips (that noise would usually mean an error has occurred)...
running on mac btw (command+r=loudblip)

I agree! that blip often startle me when I am napping.
