How do I import a dat file into Papagoya

I recently downloaded Papagoya and am having problems figuring it out. Are there any good tutorials on how to use it? I need to use one of my songs in the phoneme lip-sync mode on Anime studio debut 8. I was told that a dat file is required.

Soundfile into Papagayo
P. creates .dat-file
Import .dat-file into switch layer in AS.

You need to use a .WAV sound file.
If I'm not wrong, the file must be 16 Bit waveform type in order to work.
