Debut or Pro?

Hello,

I am a beginner. However, I specifically want to make videos that use the picture of a real person I know in my cartoons. Will Debut allow me to do this or do I need Pro in order to use my own photographs in the animations?

Debut can import jpeg,bmp,psd,png and tga formats so you can use that one if you like. Smith Micro also has a black friday sale going on right now. Use the promo code BLACKFRIDAY2011 to get 60% off either debut or pro.

Like jonbo said.

But at 80$ Pro is the way to go, especially if You intend to get anywhere serious with animation!
