break a part a scanned image
Hi there. I was hoping someone could explain how I can break apart a scanned in image into different shapes. For example, If i draw a person, what would be the best way to rig and possibly create different layers (head, upper arm, lower arm, etc.)? I have tried to use rigging by point binding but it seems to still pull on the rest of the image's points whenever I manipulate the bone. Any tutorials or advice? Thank you.
As slowtiger said, break it apart in a raster image program like Photoshop, Pixel or Gimp.
You cant rig an image with point binding, as it is not vector and therefore there are no points to bind, unless You converted an image to vector.
As far s tutorials go, there are images tutorials on the manual, tutorial 4.1
No offense, but I never understood why peoples never read the manuals, this is what they should do first, oh well!
