A few basic questions

Im inexperienced and I have some questions..

1. How to make a character walk AND not walk during an animation
2. Is there an eraser tool anywhere?
3. Is there any way to make your own characters from scratch and save them?

start at the beginning of the manual and come back when you reach the end - do every tutorial and your questions will be answered.
