Is there a "freeze pose" for point animation?

Wondering how to accomplish a certain animation task? Ask here.

Is there a "freeze pose" for point animation?

Post by NeedyN00b »

I think the subject pretty much explains it, but...

I'm manipulating points for a facial expression. I want to hold the expression for a few frames. I know I can manually copy the keyframes in question, but is there a quick way to do it like "freeze pose" accomplishes this task for bones? It would be much more efficient to do it in one command, especially across all layers (like "freeze pose" for bones).

Perhaps a script?

Thank you!

I work like this:
- select all points (cmd-a)
- create a key (click with translate tool into screen)
- drag that new key to the right (some frames or seconds)
- copy it (alt-c)
- paste it (alt-v), because I haven't left my frame I now have the same key in 2 different frames.
