How do I change particle colors?

Post by Dadoo »

So, I'm using the pre-loaded particle effect "Energy Cloud" in my animation. I've already chosen the color I want it to be, and have finished the project. NOW, I want to go back in and change the color of that "Energy Cloud" without having to create a totally new layer. I can't duplicate the layer because it won't give me the option of selecting the color like it does when I'm creating a new particle effect layer.

How do I change the color of this "Energy Cloud" from green to, say, blue? Any easy ways to do this?

Oh, and said "energy clouds" are in this animation of mine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJrX8j20Nkc

The energy cloud particle is just a bunch of vector layers.

You only need to open the particle folder, select each vector layers, in the layers you select the shapes(Q) then modify the colors in the style palette.
