Easy Q:Saving animation components

Post by animrabid »

Hi, I am using a small sketch template to create a character, with a collection of hands for different gestures, a 3/4 view etc., in other words, I'm creating and extensive spectrum of pose "pieces" and component parts as layers. I would like to save it, and then use the same carefully drawn in vector-format pieces again in another project starring the same character.
How do I "save" and then "open" these template components as a new animation in a future scene?
I do realize my question is unbelievably basic, but I've just purchased anime studio 7, (and will upgrade!)have everything all set up, and before I sink hours into it, I felt it wise to connect with the help on forum in case there was some trick to creating/saving your first little flea character and later dropping him into various movies.
Also, may I assume there is no limitation on doing this and then transferring flea into Anime studio pro?

I thank you in advance!

You only need to create all your parts in different layers, each layers with a descriptive name, then save with a descriptive name.

When you need a part from that file, go under Files/Import/Anime Studio Object...

Then navigate to the folder where the saved scene with all the parts is saved, double click or click open, then a window appears showing all the parts of the file, select the right one, then click ok to import it in your current scene.
