How do I stop my character wizard from waking?

Post by jeffdeville »

I'm using Anime Studio Debut. Just started a few hours ago, and my friend and i are ready to tear our hair out. It's got to be easy, but we're dying over here. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Copy the key frames at timeline 0 and paste them to where you want to stop. That will make it stop but it will not look natural. Another way is to just move the bones at the spot you want to stop walking and AS will create key points that will stop the walk action.
Sorry for bad animation

Add keyframes on the frame you want it to stop. That will freeze the character in the exact position he is. That will be more natural.
I usually stop the walk in a contact, in the same frame I lock the foot and then drag the entire character a little bit to the direction he was walking. This gives a natural stop with no weird cuts.
