new walk cycle sneaking

Post by uddhava »

Here's a "sneaking" walk cycle with a background and sound. The sound was added in Vegas Video Studio.

Pretty good, I like the details in the background allot.

But the character looks devilish enough without the devilish shadow as well! ;)

I commented on Youtube as well!

Thanks GCharb,

I did a little more and learned more, mostly from my mistakes.

Looks good - his far arm is a little out of sync, but nice style!

Hi jezjones29

Do you mean on the shadow or the "real" person? Or both?
Thanks for the comment.

I see what JezJones29 means about the shadow being out of sync. I like the animation and overall look of it. Very nice.

Thanks AmigaMan,

Actually I wanted the shadow to move differently as if it was coming to life, but maybe it is just distracting.
I'm glad you liked it.

Now I want to try a head turn and maybe you have something on your blog that would be helpful. It seems a lot of it depends on the design of the character.

I just thought the shadow's arm was a little out, but who cares it looks good. I had a go at a 3d head turn the other day, like you say there are so many ways to do it. Good luck with yours!

Actually, I did want them different, but at the end I was a little lazy about
checking to see if it looked good, so I think your probably right.
Thanks for sharing your head turn. It looks very 3d. Thanks for the good luck wish!
