Animate Layer Shading?

Subject says it all. I've got a timeline channel for it, but that's it.

You only must to make the changes that you want along the time, go to Shadows tab (in Layer Settings window) and do it, with this a keyframe is generated in the frame that you are, an only keyframe, yes... but includes all animatable parameters in it, that's all!

Thanks! I was trying to modify the fill of a shape at different times, but of course that's not a layer.
