New short film "The Ninjews: Therapy"
Some of you may remember when I posted "The Ninjews: Goy-L Trouble" awhile ago.
Here is the much less epic follow-up. The less epic-ness manifests itself thusly: It is a much simpler and shorter story, and instead of taking 2.5 years to finish like the last one, took two or three months.
It is super offensive so I would say stay away if you're not into that sort of thing. This crowd seemed to like the last one so here's hoping they feel the same on this one.

The animation is pretty basic, but that is because the "filmmaker" admits he is not really an animator but a "filmmaker" forced to learn animation. I have seen what some of you guys can do with this program and it astounds me, but the only way I could talk myself into trying to make these happen was to adopt an Aqua Teen/Sea Lab style instead of trying to go all Simpsons or Family guy.
Although I realize Aqua Teen is deceptively simple since they still have forshortening in their poses and tweens when characters change direction (no one changes direction here, but in the last cartoon they did and it was always in a single frame---one moment they're facing left and then BING magically facing right with no visible rotation to speak of).

What do you mean release, exactly?
As for not liking it as much, that's cool. We all have our tastes which makes us varied individuals. Some folks thought "The Hangover" was one of the best movies they'd seen in a decade, I thought it was mostly awful with a few funny parts. It's like we were watching two different movies.

Thanks. If I get to the point where I can pay others to do it, of course I'd like it to be nicer. I think it looks pretty decent right now, for what it is. If I keep using these character models and doing 'em myself, I think I will have to break down and a) tweak the hands/fingers, b) tweak the eyes to use a mask for the lids so the expressions don't "jump" when changing, c) and create mouth shapes with the actual phenomes. Those are the three things that bother me the most. I still don't want to mess with tweens for when the characters turn around 'cause that is just killer. Thought about putting in shoulders and a pelvis/hips to loosen them up, but took me so long to get those rigs working the first time I'd rather not mess with what ain't broke.
