Library problem in ASP 7 and 8
Hello,
When I try to open the library in either version (above) , I get the same message; that my versions of IE and Flash Player aren't up to date, which isn't true.
Any solution to this problem?

Might want to go to your preferences and "use old library"uddhava wrote:Hello,

That good old library comes in handy! Do you know why that works?
Thanks again, uddhava
It might be due to the new library being online friendly (relying on your browser).
It's just a guess, though. Anyway, glad it'swrking again

yes the "New" library uses flash, so it depends on the version of flash you have installed. This does enable the ability to do much more then the "old" library like search, add favorites, and search content paradise.com. but the best part is that you can add you content to the "new" library.
I found the library location by going to Help> open content library.
I then added a folder in characters and props for my project. I was then able to save the layer or group I have selected to the library, which has been handy. The only bummer is it doesn't create the thumbnail for you, but it looks like you can make your own.
I wasn't having any problems, but I just did a web search for "flash player download" and grabbed the latest plug-in release from Adobe to be safe.
