Can I Bind The Points of an Object in a Switch Layer

Post by drumlug13 »

- I have a switch layer with a shoe in 3 different positions.
- I would like to use 2 bones and binding points to flex the shoe for a walk cycle.
- the Bones disappear when the shoe w/in the Switch Layer is selected.

Can I bind the points of an object that is inside a switch layer to different bones or is layer binding to one bone the only option?

Or am I overlooking a more practical solution?

A switch layer can have bones, too! So you can move your bones freely around, and happily switch layers at teh same time which are all bound to those same bones.

Awesome! I had no idea.

That just gave me about a dozen new ideas. Thanks Tiger...
