How to foreground background blur

Post by kellz5460 »

i know I can change the blur for a foreground layer and background layer but i want to do like the camera effect of a foreground object being focused on (with background blur)and then the background object being focused on (which causes the foreground to blur)

how do i do this over the time line because when I click on layer properties it changes the whole layer over time- or do I need to make several switch layers each with a different level of blur?

btw the objects are in motion too if that means anything
OMG make it stop!

Blur and opacity can be keyed, as well as lots of other properties (shadows etc).

Check "Allow animated layer effects" first. Enter some number, return. First key should appear. Go to different frame, repeat.
