Layer order problem

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the following problem:

I've got a ASPro project, it's 971 frames long, with 4 bone layers which become visible in sequence. On all the bone layers the layer order button is activated, and on all layers at an earlier stage of development I have successfully animated the layers. Now, I'm doing some revision work to the project and on the fourth/final bone layer (which becomes visible at frame 825) for some reason all layer order animation is locked. I can't animate the layer order on that layer. The layer order button is still checked, but it doesn't animate.

Anyone know about this phenomenon? Anyone know any workarounds or solutions?

Just check: are all 4 bone layers inside one group/bone layer? Layer order only works in those, not on the root level of layers.

The bone layers exist independently, not in a group. I'm talking about the layer order of the vector layers inside the bone layer groups. The first three bone groups work just fine, it's the fourth one that's the problem.

As an example, inside the fourth bone group I have a nested bone layer for the hand and inside this group I need to reorder the vector layers for the fingers in order to simulate a hand rotation. I can't do it. All bone layers have the 'animate layer order' button turned on.
