Music Video: Rotten Luck

Post by reneuend »

I recently created a music video using Anim Studio. I had a few technical issues and forgot that there WAS a Anim Studio forum to get help from.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. It's my first finished work with Anim Studio.

I liked the animation. The music got a little too loud and clipped, but was an amusing song based on what I could hear.

Thanks Danimal.

I used Magix Movie Edit Pro to combine the scenes and then sync the music. I might have missed muting the music from one or more of the videos, so it would have been playing 2 channels of the same music.

I believe we talked on youtube.

I noticed what you said about changing scenes. There are other ways to change scenes if you are interested.

Try organizing your scenes into groups and making them all invisible except for the active scene. There are probably other ways of doing it; however.

Great animation though!

Thanks Kedric. I was wondering how other people do this. I had decided on NOT making scene changes in Animation Studio because of the amount of objects I had and because the auto lipsyncing wasn't working well with the music. So, I lipsynced to the voice only and then reworked everything in a movie editor. It worked okay, but is sure seem complicated.

I have found that lip syncing sucks.

I do all my lip syncing by frame. It takes longer but it looks a lot better.

I did a 15 min animation this way.

It was a nightmare, but well worth the time.

Here is the tutorial that helped me the most when I first started.

Wow! Maybe I'm too lazy!
Nice to hear about different techniques.
Thanks Kedric.
