help! im haveing trouble with one of my shapes!

ok im making a new character right and im working on the eyes right now, I've been trying to color the eyes yellow but i cant do it! iv tried making a new shape but it just wont find the shape i made!

I seen that you have had troubles with other things also. Have you read through the tutorials that comes with your AS program? They are located in the help tab.

yes i have looked though them i did every thing they said and still nothing :/

Try this, up top right under the file menu you will see a small icon of what ever tool is currently selected. Click on that and click on 'reset all tools.' Now try and color the shape.
I am guessing that you may have fills unchecked.

Also are you using the select shape tool to make the shape checkered before trying to color it?
