Soft edge

Post by nobudget »

I have a small animation http://www.nobudgetvideo.com/moho/stephan_vliegtuig.wmv and if you look carefully the shiny parts on the wings alternate sharp/blurred. It should remain blurred, I put on a soft edge in the fill properties. The wings are scaled with bones. Any ideas? The only thing I can think of is that the points are too close for the soft edge to function properly.

I believe that as the wings moves the change of Soft Edge value (for scale compensation) is abrupt beetwen 1 to 2 directly (i.e.) or beetwen 3 to 2 (I don't know) I 've experimented this issue/BUG in others effects like Layer Shadow/Shading and seems that Moho doesn't work in this cases with decimals  ...Am I wrong?

Possible, but the original value was 10, and 9 or 11 would not make that much difference right...where's the CIAO!...?

VERY WELL! :D I'm happy, yes... But that is not the best way to avoid this, because scale compensation affects all aspects of the layer and it's very likely that we can not want to unchecked it... cause of this we must insist in get more precission for effects procesing, a little more... ( PLEEEASE  ) CIAO!!!
