Anime studio 7 on a netbook?

Post by Impact »

Hey everyone! im getting anime studio 7 pro for Christmas an im super exited! however I was wondering if anyone has ran it on a netbook.

Im not concerned about power because its well within the system requierments but I dont know If the screen will be too small.

With other programs i have to arrange the windows very carefully and than i still only have a bit of screen space to draw/animate.

Thanks

btw the resolution is 1024 X 600 :D

Hi, I work on a thinkpad tablet pc of 1024 x 768 with no problems. I only undock the toolbar to be able to expand or reduce timeline's height depending of the project needs.
Your resolution is little smaller than mine, but it shouldn't be too different.

Maybe you would find interesting this workspace tip I wrote some time ago

Great, my screen resolution is acutaly the same as yours but for some reason it desplays it as X 600.

btw I watched your 2010 demo reel and I really like some of your styles, expesialy the shimmering water. For the textures did you import pics or was it all in the program?

You should check your screen driver.
About the water, sorry, but the final composition wasn't made by me. It was made by a guy from fluorfilms using After Effects and some tricks to blend real sea footage with the illustration. Most of my work have been made with a little team of designers, illustrators, musicians, composers, etc. My work on that shorts was exclusively character setup and animation.

Yes, sorry, I'm not such an expert about configuring netbooks screens at distance . But that kind of things always has to do with installing the correct drivers.
