Sluggishness in AS6?

Post by cartoonkreator »

Hey everyone, I am still new to AS and learning all the ins and outs but I am currently experiencing a some sluggishness in the project I'm working on. All of the aspects of my project are running very slowly; (selection, moving, dragging, zooming in and out, etc.. )
Was wondering if anyone else had experienced that or if I am doing something wrong(very likely)

My project includes about 10 vector layers, 1 bone layer, a few gradient fills, a number of cycles, some point motion keyframes and some layer translation keyframes if that helps.

Thanks

It works like that only on that specific project?
You could try unchecking some options on "Display quality". Shape effects as gradients, for example, are hard to show. Same happens with bruses or masks. Try with the Display quality possibilities, if this is a problem with the velocity of your computer that should work.
If not, maybe you could upload the file so we could take a look.
