Hi, been too busy to post lately, but here's a little project I've been working on sporadically. It was inspired by super8mm's girl bunnies I saw on the Animators Forum (www.animatorsforum.com), except in this case, I used a character from my friend's site.

The walk cycle is loosely rotoscoped from the Ghostbusters music video. (Bill Murray's walk has lots more personality than my example.

)

The character rig is a combination of many useful techniques found on this forum, including the mandcon rig, funksmaname stacking and hand building techniques, and selgin rope technique. Thanks, guys!

That works really well with the music. You're creating quite a collection of characters dancing to/playing music. Perhaps an animated rock opera is in order? :)
