Brand new user, first problem...

So I recently purchased and installed ASD7. Everything looks great but between installing and going to work and returning, I seem to have lost the ability to view my tools. The box where they would be is there, but there is no room for any tools to be present, so there are no tools for me to click on. Any suggestions? Thanks!

make sure you're on frame zero, the drawing tools are only usable on frame zero unless you change it in the preferences sub menu

Does it look like a tiny little window with just the title bar and no room for anything else? Try uninstalling and reinstalling the program.

You could just trey restart the program see if that works

Do you have the tool folder under scripts? Is their a text file called '_tool_list.text'. Are their small png pictures with matching lua files?

If you answer no to any of these question, you might need to reload the program.

Any time you change the standard tools, it is a good idea to make a back up of the original tool set that came with AS.
