How do I roll back a anime 7 file to Version 6 so I can freaking render it?
It has no new physics or new 3d, it does have tracking data.\
This is a emergency!!!

Well I found a rather inelegant solution but it works.
I couldn't started altering files as text without really knowing what I'm doing this late in the process.
Thanks though Mikdog, still if anyone knows a sure-fire method that will render faster than using just the one core then let me now eh?

Unfortunately I can't help with any AS7 issues, but I do have a trick for rendering using multiple cores in 6.2 Open up another instance of the program and use the batch renderer. The second instance will run on the second core as evidenced by the amount of cpu resources used while rendering. I have only tried 2 instances of the program running at once, as I'm usually doing something else on the system while it's rendering and don't want to use all 3 cores. This is all using Windows7 64 on an athlonIIx3. It's great for a bunch of small clips or to split a large clip into parts each to be rendered on a different core and deposited in a single folder. I'm pretty sure it's windows that's distributing the load to the cpu's, so results may vary depending on your OS, or cpu for that matter.
Thanks spoon, unfortunately, that didn't work on this occasion.
It really is such an insidious bug that sometimes there might be workarounds but the bug will always bite back.
I have tried everything and I thought actually disabling the 234 cpu's would work which it did for a small scene but include audio or video in the file and it will crash after an hour while running super slow.
This was even more annoying than a crash straight away as the rendered file was unreadable.
The only solution is to forego audio and video.
This does not happen with every single project but it happens more often than not , especially with many layers and groups.
Anyway I don't need to revert to 6 any more, I rendered the files ( not as nice as I envisioned, but they're done)
The only thing for this is a patch or a point upgrade, but after talking to SM I think they are more likely to stay in denial as they 'seem' to be unaware of the bug. Yeah right.
