Re: Anime Studio 10
Server activation sucks. I regularly move between two locations, A and B. At location A I use computer C1 and at location B I use computer C2. Since no other person uses my software whilst I use it there is no violation of the principle that I have paid to use the software and only I use it. Server ...

Re: Please Complete Anime Studio Survey 2013
I did it but I was disappointed about its almost complete lack of interest in what we might want from ASP in the future.

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
I'd like the Arrow drawing tool turned into a proper line tool, with the arrow head a togglable option. Having to constantly switch between the arrow tool and the delete edge tool is cumbersome and should be unnecessary. I'd also like the Shift-arrow option to default to the nearest 45° angle rather...

I'm so glad someone else wants this.dkwroot wrote:- Add the ability for users to set the interval for the timeline ruler. Some animators like to animate at 25 fps and the ability to set the ruler to display on 5's would be nice.

SOLVED: 9.5 not recognising script group name
I installed Fazek's tools for 9.2 as per Vern's webinar and everything was fine. However, 9.5 is not recognising the group name, which has reverted to Other. Edit: I solved it. The problem was that _tool_list.txt had an out-dated version number (9.1). When I pasted the new version number: /* anime_v...

Re: Resources, tutorials, manuals to download?
However, the main problem still stands - lots of times I simply can't access those videos long enough to actually stream it all. (especially since YouTube is now so user 'friendly'). I was hoping there would some videos just stored somewhere to be downloaded conveniently :-( I downloaded the Smith ...

Re: 9.5 is out...
My version also doesn't open maximized and I couldn't find the command for the right click mentioned earlier. Is there another fix? I guess hitting "maximize" everytime is a pretty small gripe, but if there's a way around it... Right-click on the ASP icon and select Properties. A dialogue...

Re: Stop Anime mangling my shapes?
Can't you use the automatic tracing feature? I hadn't thought of that. To be honest, the results of automatic tracing in the Smith Micro video tutorial were so awful I've never considered using it. In any event, as I said earlier, I've changed my approach, not least because the AS extrusion can't d...

Re: Stop Anime mangling my shapes?
Thanks all. It seems the logo per se is doable but I'm going to rethink how I want to animate it. I've been playing around with Anime's extrusion and it's really basic and clumsy, so I guess I'll have to think "flatter". That's fine, it's good to get on top of what an app can and can't do ...

Re: Stop Anime mangling my shapes?
OK. If I have to do every part of the shape manually because Anime can't handle intersections then the full logo is going to be a nightmare: http://i.imgur.com/0ELgnIQ.png I don't think I can layer this and get the effect I wanted because I wanted the full logo extruded in 3D so I can rotate it arou...

Stop Anime mangling my shapes?
Total beginner here, so I'm probably doing something wrong, but I want to stop Anime "being helpful" and ruining my shapes in the process. I'm doing a logo. Here is the template: http://i.imgur.com/Ur1jhQA.png I whipped that up in about two minutes in PS. It is just a doughnut overlaid wit...
