Re: Free App to Control Window Opacity and Click Through
I'm always around, I just don't post as often as I used to. I don't have as much time to play with Moho as I used to, I'm on a brutal work schedule these days. =(

Re: Free App to Control Window Opacity and Click Through
You're very welcome. I went ahead and tossed in the python file as well. As always, feel free to add or modify the code to make it do whatever you want.

Free App to Control Window Opacity and Click Through
I created a little tool that lets you change the opacity of any window you have open. There are even toggle buttons that let you set a window to always be on top and whether or not you can click through it and access the window behind it. I use this for rotoscoping. Basically, I can open up a video ...

Re: 2.5D head with corrective smartbones (now with tutorial)
Oh, they're not terrible to me! I use Mirror Points and Swap Sides all the time. This combo is super useful when setting up animations for full turns. Modified Magnet is still a favorite too!. I used to use Bake Bones occasionally but I guess we can now do that using the recently added Deep Frames ...

Re: 2.5D head with corrective smartbones (now with tutorial)
I'm still around. I just don't have any of those old files anymore. I haven't had any time to play with Moho since I started my current job. Hey, great to see you're still in the neighborhood! You created many wonderful tools for Moho, and I hope you'll be able to make time for that again. But if y...

Re: Cutout puppets
That's really cool, DK. I've been thinking about this a lot and I think I figured out how the skeleton is made. She is probably using popsicle sticks for the bones and paper clips for joints. Basically, she bends the paperclip so that it's straight, then hot glues it to the cardboard. She then makes...

Re: Cutout puppets
Thanks for posting this. They are amazing!!! Cheers D.K I thought so too. I think this would be a really fun arts and crafts projects for those of you with children/grandchildren. I'm actually trying to figure out what the control mechanisms are like. I imagine that they're either rings, rubber ban...

Cutout puppets
I found this really interesting channel made by a Japanese artist. She makes puppets using cutout style animation and puppeteers them beautifully. I imagine it would be possible to make something like this using Moho to design and test the cutout parts, then transferring to cardboard. U_0rDuKk7J8 Ss...

Re: JSON export for web SVG animation.
Hope you'd not mind my curiosity but what do you use for SVG & JSON in AE? Lottie or something more flexible? Yes, Lottie if you say so :). Like I mentioned I do not have a very clear connection between SVG, JSON, and Lottie, which is what and how it works. JSON ( J ava S cript O bject N otatio...

Re: Best pc build for MOHO
I think that if you use the Moho exporter program it will use all available cores during the render. This can substantially speed up the render process. I made a thread a few years ago where users posted their PC specs and compared render times for a common project. As I recall, it seemed that syste...

That's awesome. I just bought the pro version of clip studio over the weekend. I already prefer it over photoshop. I'm glad the old Moho team is doing well.

Re: Blender New Innovative 2d Animation "GP Tools"
You can assign materials to strokes by going into edit mode and selecting the points that make up the stroke. The easiest way to do this is to select just one point in the stroke then press "L" which will select the entire stroke. Then go to the materials tab and click on a material that y...

Re: Blender New Innovative 2d Animation "GP Tools"

I managed to build and rig a character in blender 2.8 using grease pencil and bones. I'm quickly falling in love with the workflow, it's incredibly powerful and ingenious in its design.
