I'm not sure if that's the same. The actual keys with the actions on them don't pop up anything weird. This has only been happening on the interpolated frames just before (or after?) the keys where eyes are fully closed, and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fact that there are 2 holes cut in the single face shape. Perhaps I can solve this by splitting the face into 2 halves, with a separate fill for each eye hole. It doesn't happen on any other shapes that I'm doing the same things with, and I'm guessing it's because nothing else has holes like that.

I had that same experience. The actual actions don't show anything weird, it was a matter of whether or not the shape (within the action) had a keyframe on it or not. Sometimes, the keyframe previous to the action would mess up the action. I figured that it would be best to protect myself and so I went and set a key for every shape inside the action. It seemed to help.

I think I see what you mean. I'll try setting a keyframe for the problem frames and see if that helps, though I can't do exactly what you suggest because I mix and match my actions, and in the case of the blinking frames, I don't necessarily want the action to affect any points other than the eyes themselves.

Surprisingly enough, Newgrounds has seen fit to honour two of these Drowtales animations on the front page. First was the Master & Cat one, which was spotlighted for the past few days, and now it's been replaced with this one. Personally, I would have thought that Ariel's High Sorcery would have been more appealing to the general viewer than this one, which requires viewers to know and care about the past year of the webcomic Drowtales. But hey!
