Noise vector works only sometimes

Wondering how to accomplish a certain animation task? Ask here.

Glad you got it working.

That's really weird about the Preference GPU switch though. It should be right here:

I wonder if it has to do with the graphics chipset or drivers? I'm mainly using Nvidia at home and at work, and Intel on my Wacom tablet computer. Not sure about ATI but I thought it worked with ATI on my old laptop. I think it would show up in Mac but I don't have a Mac now to confirm this.

Hmm, that really is weird. I actually posted the Moho 12 preferences panel but I checked ASP 11 and it should be there too. Hopefully somebody with a Mac will pop in to confirm.

I can confirm, I have no "Enable GPU" button on ASP 11 or Moho 12
I'm on iMac 27 with 2,93 GHz Intel Core i7 and ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB Graphic card

Hello All,

I realize this is an old topic, but I found it while looking for a solution to the opposite issue I'm having below:

I'm working on a PC in AS Pro 11.2, and I've created a thatched roof with rough edges. I've set the vector layer to noisy outlines and noisy fills. It is supposed to remain static during the shot.
I have some slow camera movement going on. During the entire shot, the edges slowly "boil" and "pop" even though "animated noise" is left unchecked.

I suppose if I have to I will render and save a preview of the thatched roof as a png and reinsert into the shot as a static work around, but would love to get this solved if I can.

Thanks

LY
