if you already have a cintiq TVP is the best I've seen. The major problem with tablets for any of this stuff is true pressure sensitivity... this is probably the main reason there are no real PRO animation options on tablets. For mobility, and fast roughing, they can be really useful but no $2 app is going to come close to a cintiq and TVP combination!

Yeah TV Paint definitely looks awesome and powerful, from the very few videos I have watched so far. Working on it with the Cintiq must be the best for sure (as it is with ASP), but still keeps you chained to your desk instead of being able to just instantly run outside and keep working on an even lighter basis wherever you go. As far as tablets go, I think I would rather go for an iPad (for both coherency matters and personal predilections), but that accuracy issue does ring a bell indeed. Thanks.

I really recommend to you to join the TVP forum, as there are several animators working mobile with a tablet PC or laptop with either a Cintiq or an Intuos, and they discuss their exeriences.

I am definitely gonna keep to ASP however, as far as "paper" and vector-based animation is concerned.
