I just purchased ASP 5.6 last week or so and I got a free upgrade to ASP 6 yesterday.

Just register AS/ASP 5 and then email cs@smithmicro.com, and ask for the free upgrade.

Make sure to send them your serial #, contact email (from your registration) and your name. Also tell them which platform you are using (PC or MAC).

They will request a copy of your dated sales receipt as well.

So again, anyone who bought AS/ASP 5 after May 9th, 2009 qualifies for a free upgrade.

Yes if you purchased in the last 30 days you can upgrade fro free. If you're close to 30days, Customer service will usually take care of you if you call or email and ask.

One of the forum member perks is that if they say no and you're nice to me I can push it through provided you're within a week or so and you have an incident number you can PM me from customer service.

Also In the Pro boxes there will be two disks, one Mac and one Windows. The installers are too large to fit on a CD. There is no way to author a single DVD that can be reliably used on Mac and all supported versions of Windows. The Debut installer is smaller and Mac and Windows fit on one disk.

So if you have a boxed version of Debut already yes the disk can be used on either platform.

I had purchased about 5 or 6 days ago, when will i receive the CDs (not from NA)?

You'll have to clarify what you purchased..... but if you're asking about shipping and fulfillment of version 6, not my cup of tea. That would be a CS question.
