Why don't very skilled anime pro users make a feature flim

Hello all!
Have not read the whole thread but here are my two cents.
Been working on the animation biz most of my adult life, love it, and I applaud jackass enthousiasm but this is a huge undertaking.
Few have succeeded in making a full feature on their own, they we're all seasonned professionals and it took them years.
This said, it is possible.
My only experience working on a full lenght feature was Pinnochio 3000(3D), took 12 millions to make the animation alone, and we finished it on our knees!
This said, you could use AS pro, with a relativelly simple rig and limited animation, get free sound fx and actually have voices made in a home made studio.
There are free video montage, sound editors out there, I supose some could be used to create a low level production, but i doubt you could produce a full blown pro quality full lenght movie with it.
Last thing, Wallmart sells 40% of the DVD in north america, just go and have a look at what is sold there, you'd be surprise at how low quality get on shelves these days.
Also, many of those DVD's are not full lenght, some are as short as 20-30 minutes and sell for as much as 20$.
You can sell DVD's online, through stores like amazon.com, though it cost like 55% of the selling price to have your DVD in their store, that's not counting the making of the DVD and pochette.
All this said, making a full lenght takes huge dedication, do not assume that hard work alone will get you there. You will need to really develop those skills, become really good at everything and still have time for a little life, or you will go nuts.
Again, my two cents.
