Re: Things go haywire only when exported
ANSWER FOUND: Nothing to do with the camera. The background image had some Transform keyframes, and those channels were muted at some point, and obviously I did without them because I forgot they were there and muted. But muted channels render when exporting if the Render muted channels option is ch...

Re: Things go haywire only when exported
A little more info:
Limiting the render to just the section with the problem (rather than Frame 0-END) still exhibits the problem
Preview animation does not exhibit the problem.
Muting the camera tracks solves the problem.

Things go haywire only when exported
I have a movie which consists entirely of imported images appearing and disappearing and moving around etc. sometimes I am moving the camera (pan and zoom) and sometimes I'm moving the images themselves, depending on the need. Looks great, all done, time to export! But when I export, there's a certa...

Mesh grid messes with my image
I have put a 2D mesh grid on top of an image, and have animated points in the grid and it's working great. However, the grid is causing some parts of the image to not display at all, so there are "gaps" in the image. At first I had a big hole in the middle of the grid, and learned that I n...

A cool thing I just came up with
So many bones... I've had struggles keeping all the bones straight on my rigs. I like to keep the labels on them and colorize them and try to keep them organized, but they are always something of a muddle. Then I came up with a brilliant (for me) technique I think will serve me well. I snapped a scr...

Now that I'm doing everything with bones...
Through answers here and tutorials and such I'm learning that most everything I'm animating is done with bones. I can see why this is a good way to go, makes things a lot simpler. However... Another thing I've been told is that it's best to keep all bones in the same layer, which of course is the to...

Re: So very pixelated
Cool, that was it exactly. Can you accurately predict what my post will be when the answer I get will be "turn GPU Acceleration back on"?

So very pixelated
Am I doing something wrong here? I'm creating a character consisting of all vector layers. Any vector that is not the layer I'm currently working on shows very pixelated on screen. When I render the frame it's fine, but when editing it's really distracting and difficult. I'm sure this is something o...

Re: Show pixel coordinates
I noticed that right away as well. They certainly aren’t doing themselves any favors by not updating, because if it hasn’t been recommended by you, that wouldn’t have come across as an immediate red flag.

Reusability
I'm hoping to be able to put together animations very quickly. My idea is to use Moho in place of Vyond for instructional design courses, to have the opportunity for more variety than Vyond offers, and distinguish myself a bit from my competition. The biggest hurdle is development time, which is typ...

Re: Show pixel coordinates
I didn't know about the second option, and there are definitely places I could use that; there are a few places where the character intentionally freezes before the user hits the Next button, and that would work for those moments. It's probably worthwhile to try that. The idea of making one long vid...

Re: Show pixel coordinates
(BTW, I installed FastStone Capture based on your recommendation and I really love it. Thanks! I'm paying for it when my trial runs out.) I am creating a training course using Articulate Storyline, which includes many slides of content, most of which involve some Moho video. As the user navigates fr...

Show pixel coordinates
Is it possible for Moho to give me an object's position and size using pixel coordinates and the width and height of an object using pixels instead of this less useful decimal system they use? I'm having to match Moho objects up precisely with non-Moho objects from other applications, and they all s...

Hands - Here's how I'm thinking of doing it
I decided once and for all to make myself a collection of vector hands that I can reference forevermore in my projects. I went online and got a few googled collections of cartoon hand positions, and traced over them in Moho to make vector layers. Then I organized them on the screen in logical groups...

Re: Just curious - Set Origin
Oh..... that's a good idea, nesting groups like that. In reality I need to be more expert at animation in general to find myself in a situation where I'm doing complicated things like that. But this does remind me of a technique I thought up over the weekend that I will ask about in another thread s...
