I place joint targets in my rig so I know where to connect the bones. Like so... https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/65qmutthhw17gxbo1i0ew/JointTargetA.jpg?rlkey=sgvony1lwuvfx0qxov33tvio4&raw=1 https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/5ttw6g6b5kcfpfkym9z43/JointTargetB.jpg?rlkey=u5efmbshw90az3y7gpctk9z0i&...

seeing points while rigging
When I pass from a normal layer to the bone layer, I stop seeing its points. This makes it difficult to place the bones exactly where I want to, for example at crucial intersections (like an elbow, in cases where an arm is on one layer). Is it possible to continue seeing the points on a layer while ...

Re: Brightness and color adjustments?
Moho is not made for that, such corrections usually would be done later in compositing/video editing. But for some very basic corrections you can do this: - put layer in group and activate masking - create layer with black shape - make your darkended layer the mask, set the black layer to multiply ...

Brightness and color adjustments?
To my surprise I find (or am not capable of finding) there is no way to adjust brightness or color adjustments of a layer in Moho. I was needing to simply lower the brightness of a background and find no direct or workaround way to do this. I find this bizarre, especially since the layer settings of...

Re: Pasting over last keyframe of cycle without losing the cycle
Here's what I do: Let's say I've got a cycle 1-2-3-4-5-6. I let it run until I need to make it stop, at that point I create keys and the cycle stops. If I want to go into the cycle again, I just copy that 1-2-3-4-5-6 to where I need it. Most times my stop and start position is somewhere inside the ...

Pasting over last keyframe of cycle without losing the cycle
When I animate a cycle I often edit its start and end keyframes (classic example: the first pose in a walk, and the last, cycling back to frame 2). I usually tweak the pose on frame 1 of the cycle until I have what I like, then copy that pose and paste it on the last frame of the cycle. But pasting ...

Thanks! I'll watch it.Daxel wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 4:19 pm Victor just made a video about that. It's still a manual method layer by layer but it has some nice recomendations to make it faster. Re: Applying Effects or bushes to multiple layers
That's something which should best be decided in the design stage, before you build the character in Moho. Next best thing: define a style for the outline and use it on all shapes the character consists of when you build it . This way you later can change the appearance of the outline, try differen...

Applying Effects or brushes to multiple layers
I have a character, all parts separated in layers and rigged. Since the style is very linear, sort of hand-drawn like, I'd like to add an effect (wet ink, or rough ink), or maybe a brush. As far as I can tell I can only do this by selecting the shapes (Q) on each layer and applying the effect layer ...

Re: locking frame 0
you can enable drawing tools only on frame 0 : edit / preferences / tools does that achieve what you want? I actually have that already enabled, and it does help when actually drawing. But I still find myself from time to time (enough to notice it) unwillingly editing layers and points beyond frame...

locking frame 0
is there a way to lock the playhead on frame 0 when we don't need to animate? During the planning, sketching, drawing, coloring, rigging phases I find one of the most frequent nuisances is realising that I've inadvertently pressed play and finding I've been moving layers, or adding keyframes. Most o...

Re: can't get rid of Image Texture handles (on strokes)
1. make sure the Defaults are exactly what you want a stroke to be, and make a stroke. 2. select the stroke 3. click the "copy" button above the "Advanced" checkbox. 4. go to the layer with all the strokes with unwanted handles, choose the Select Shape tool and click the "S...

Re: can't get rid of Image Texture handles (on strokes)
This happens even with one shape selected. The Effect 1 (for fills) says there's an image texture somewhere but is greyed out so I can't tell it to be "plain" But now the panel is displaying the actual shape properties and we can see that you are not doing anything wrong, something is cle...
