The way I would have done it would be to make a rough stickman/shape sketch of how you want the scene to look like, with some handy inspirational videos/pics to give you a guideline. Then collect references of the props or set in the correct camera angle, edit out the saturation in an external image...

Hahahaha, that's an interesting way of looking at it Durand. But I was thinking more like Funksmaname described. I was too lazy to convert the particles into leaves, so I left it as is.

Window Sill practice test animation

A short practice test I did in anime studio pro 8. Backgrounds done in Photoshop, rigging and animation in anime studio, and composited in after effects.
