thx for the tips
jonbo - many thanks again for your help. sbtamu - yes, I struggled with the hands. I went through several iterations after creating the typing action, where I tried, failed, and eventually gave up on making the hands have a stubbier look while typing. After I couldn't get that working, I wasn't sure...

[solved] it works!
@jonbo - exactly what I was looking for, and double thanks for the example .anime file. The manual (p498) says to use Shift-Cntl-N to nudge, but the dialog never popped up. After rereading the manuals animations section and seeing your file, it made more sense to me. I think the frequent discussion ...

I think I'm missing some easy way to do this physics
I have question which may be easy to this. I have a ball (it will talk later), after a few seconds, I'd like it to move right and knock some blocks, where the blocks fall using built in physics. When I try to do just a ball, I can find a way for the ball to wait before moving. The physics dialog for...

that was a very helpful video
@jonbo - thanks for the video and pointing out the manual. I spent hours trying to figure out why the section on character wizard was so insufficient. The section on actions is deeper, but after your video, everything is clearer and seems to work. I got stuck on the CW since I tried to follow the ma...

character wizard - walk cycle not properly saved
I made a video to show the problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EU4qhvJnXpk The animation I made using the character wizard worked until I saved it. Then when I opened it back up, the walk cycle and animations after the walk cycle no longer appeared. I discovered, however, that if you cilck the s...

physics wiggyness - works in edit, but not in render
I've uploaded a video of the scene while I'm editing and the scene after rendering. It's a simple stairs and 2 balls. While editing, the stairs physics are set to 'non moving object' and they don't move as I edit. When I take that exact scene and render, the stairs seem to behave as one of the objec...

AS7, can't stop my animation from looping, no cycling
I created an animation, and when I preview or export it as Flash, it will always loop back and repeat the animation. There are no keyframes with cycling. I just want the animation to run once then stop. Is there some setting or configuration that I'm just missing as a n00b? I run the rendered swf in...
