Re: Fringe happening with masking

My previous post was about adding/activating Exclude Strokes option. That way, you would not need Overlay because everything would be masked inside the shape but inside the stroke as well (no overlap, even from shapes going outside the head shape). However, you'd still have that fringe. Minimal but ...

Re: Fringe happening with masking

Perhaps you could try these settings for the layer/s below the highlights and shadows

Re: Particle layer start time crash/more UI bugs

So, what if you save the file delete the character's group/layer adjust the things through the sequencer and then import the character, from that previously saved file through Import/moho objet, wherever you need it You keep all the animation for the character, it would be placed/timed as you like a...

Re: Particle layer start time crash/more UI bugs

" if i want to delay any character's start time.... "

What do you mean by this - delay?

Re: Particle layer start time crash/more UI bugs

I have no doubt offsetting would cause the crash. Why you keep insisting on it?
Either delay the start for particles or insert the character as a separate file (instead of offsetting) and it would all work well.

What am I missing here?

Re: Particle layer start time crash/more UI bugs

It could be I don't understand your issue or perhaps I didn't phrased it properly I did not offset the character, I imported the character (previously saved as a separate file) into another file with the playhead on frame 50, through Import/Moho object and it all worked well. So, the character is ac...

Re: Particle layer start time crash/more UI bugs

That would still mess the Particle folder.

I've tried with inserting the character on frame 50, with the playhead there, through the import/moho object and it worked just fine.
If you need to add some animation within the character - deploy unchecked On start and Particles on

Re: Particle layer start time crash/more UI bugs

Far as I can tell, the crash occurs only if you offset the particle folder.
So, if you already have an option "On at start" and "Particle On" why do you need the offset?

Re: Particle layer start time crash/more bugs

Perhaps I'm missing something.... You created the Particle folder and have not added anything to it, but instead, you deleted that other layer in that file. Why? The particle folder is there to gather things you'd like to have emited as particles. So, not only that you left the folder empty, you're ...

Re: Retiming physics - slow motion bone dynamics?

Perhaps making a copy of the file with a higher frame rate (from 24 to 60, i.e.) and then do the rescale frames.

Re: SVG Animation

Even in AE, SMIL only works through Bodymovin.
Having such an option could be handy, but I believe the idea behind the svg export in Moho was mostly meant for frame export rather than sequences or SMIL.

Re: Bigger Icons...

Hope this would still be related to the topic... From what I learned, reshaping/scaling the Tools window to a custom ratio is not an option. However, once you start adding scripts, if the window is undocked, it overlaps the docked ones. Making groups within the Tools window brings some ease but coul...

Re: How to 'go viral'?

Recently I received a few offers to work on animations, in series, for YT channel. All had a common thing... There were a few YT channels presented as examples, to set the style reference but I noticed an odd thing about those channels. Up to 10 videos within a year where the 1st one got 500K views ...

Re: Ease in - Ease out

Hamedss' graphic example made me certain about what keeps me away from using these Eases but hayasidist's remark about smooth keys interfering with the curve made me think it out again. Then I took into account the influence of the keys on frame 0 (or just simply preceding kf's) and wrapped up a bri...
