My best test yet.
I'm very excited, this one is 9 seconds long. It is constructed of 3 anime studio files that I imported into Adobe Premier. Project is 30 frames per second. would it be better to go with 24 frames per second? I'm only going to use this web based. I exported out of AS with quicktime video, Mpeg-4 cod...

I have had a few stumbling blocks. One, I think I need to find that nifty copy past bones script. Getting the bones on the other side of the face is going to be a chore without it. Second, as I put in the bone scaling. I need to figure out what values to put in. I tried copying yours, but my head sh...

First off Ahh new tutorial! yes, I found one really BIG big hint in it. Definatly worth the watch. Second. I noticed the Zsortlayers.zip file on contains 3Dgrid10.lua But you still have 3Dgrid9.lua in the 3Drig_utils_v9.zip file directly above it. My computer specs: AMD Athlon XP 3200. 1 gig ram I a...

I think I just figured out what I did. tiredness.. in my attempt to bring the edge of the back, down, I forgot that I must have been creating new shapes along the way. oops! Hope when I say mess up. I'm not critisinging you. I am simply experimenting, and figuring out what works well and what doesn'...

I figured I would share with you guys a bad example of how to do it. This is one of my characters that I decided to 3d-erise. well since it is a ball, it was a good choice. If you look at how the eyes are done, you will notice I did not do it the same way. Instead of the concentric circles, I made m...

Just an FYI. I think I got stuck in an infinite loop using the paint bucket tool. I had some overlapping shapes, and it tried to use them and I think was trying to then fill an open ended curve/curves. Let it run for half an hour, at 100%cpu and memory was increasing. I would send a screen shot, but...

Ok, new test. Last one for now. I promise! I think I fried my brain on this one. It took me all day, off and on. I really can see how proper bone naming, and point grouping can really help. I did a little bit. The streamers have dynamic bones. You can really see how it breaks the shape order. Also I...

Here is my broom/dynamic bones test. I included a screen shot with some text over-laid. You can see that the masterX and masterY do not affect the dynamic. only the main bone. I put the bones in at a 45 degree angle to keep them separate, and parented them to the corresponding .pt bones. If I tried ...

Genete, Please don't think that I am pestering you. I think it's going to take me a month or so just to learn all that has been said in this thread. I am just posting my experiences. After I get the art of the back of the head down, and the little gaps under the chin and at the top of the head. I'm ...

Sounds like you had a good vacation! ....I played around more. I'm quickly coming up with a list of tools I think I either need to make myself, or see if they already exist... Or maybe I'm not doing it right. For this test I did the two halves of the face differently since this is taking a while to ...

Feedback: Just came across this thread today. I looked at your tutorials. Wow!!! That just blew my mind. I think it's going to take me a while to assimilate the springies. Also I've seen the practical uses of it on the hand animation. I'd love to see a few more though. As for easy to follow. I did n...
