Hi, I am a Anime Studio Pro 9 user
You see I just smartbones to hide and fix seams....
I use bone constraints you see, so since smartbones isn't 100 perfect i want to make more than 2 actions per smartbone
The only problem is that after i put in the name of bone and the number 3, it doesn't work... I can tell because the bone isn't highlighted
I spelt the bone name correctly and only put one space after the 3 HELP!?!??!

Smart bones only allow for 2 actions per bone.

What about later versions (10 & 11?)

All versions of AS only allow two actions per bone. One for rotating clockwise and another for counter-clockwise.

still 2... and, as dkwroot said, those 2 smartbone actions are intended to be one each for positive (>0) angles of rotation and negative (<0) angles of rotation. Or you can have just one action for the whole range of rotations including >360

but within an action you can control many things - including other bones...

so if you wanted to ask "how many different things can you make one smartbone do?" the answer is "that's limited only by your imagination!"

wait how do you use smartbones to control other bones?!?!?!
Also could smartbones work for a 360 degrees rotation like for 2.5d?

That feature was added in 9.5 and really changed the way we rig.
