Hello again
so this time i noticed something weird going on when i render my character
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qq2cmpCO ... e=youtu.be

as you can see it renders out the mouth in a weird way

here a better view

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3GWdJyH ... e=youtu.be

now i know for a fact that the mouth has hidden strokes

but when it renders it just shows them anyway and it looks really weird like she has a little mustache going one
Image
i rendered at the finest resolution
is it because of the masking? i don't think so but here is an example how i got my layers masked

this is the main bone layer:

these are the lips

the black part of the mouth:

the teeth and the tongue are just masked nothing special

any help would be appreciated
thank you

This thread might be useful: masking line bug fix at AS9

Is it necessary to use masking for this? The mouth construction could done in one layer, something like this:

funksmaname has a short video using shape stacking: quickstacks

If you have the time, I recommend all his videos where he covers shape stacking in great detail:
Shape stack order explained (UPDATED with pt 3)

Hope that helps.

thank you this will be useful
i have done some research of my own and i found a really simple solution... i just hit the lines underneath the inside of the mouth... might not be the professional way to do it but it worked for me
i will look up this content so that i may learn more for the future thank you :D

is ti possible that when you render from a distance the line will appear but when you render up close the line is gone? i did everything as it said in the post... it's really weird...
