Timeline "dots" too small.... or??? + general feedback.

Hi,
Sometimes I need to zoom out (timeline) to select a bunch of keyframe dots, then I will need to move them left or right, etc. the problem for me is, it takes me 5 or 6 tries to finally "hit the target", that is, to be able to click within the single pixel (apparent active area for making a selection) within a single dot, so that I can move the entire group of keyframe dots.
If it weren't for this one item, I could probably work 5 times faster when assembling an animation. Also, one would assume that the right and left arrows would move keyframe dots once they are selected, but I guess not. And come to think of it. I need to find a hot-key list somewhere, as so far my discovery of shortcuts and hot key has been on the slow boat. I purchased via the 30 day trial/download which came with zero documentation, so perhaps this is where I went wrong.
I've also noticed on several occasions when working really intensively, I've had to save then quit the app, and restart just to get some of the feature to work properly again, e.g. to add a new layer via the layer's menu, which absolutely will not work sometimes after I've been working on a project for a few hours.
That said, great program by the way, the above are mostly just quibbles. I can see with just a bit more bug zapping, and perhaps a few more controls (such as audio panning and generally being able to overlap audio tracks with different level settings and so on), I can see where ASP may at some point be a genuine heavy hitter. And yes, I also realize that it may just be me, that I've missed controls and features which may already be there.
I'm still and always a student of animation.
Thanks much.
