yes, there is a color picker. it is in the fill tool palet. i use it alot. click on the eyedropper and select your color from the shape u want. shading is done in the style palet on the right side. u will see where it says effect 1 and 2, choose either and select shading, u will get a sub-menu where u can select different options like light direction.

edit: u beat me to it steve, actually u don't need to select the shape first for the color picker, it will work w/o any shape select even across different layers.

haha i have made a fool of myself. >.< this wasnt the program i was wondering about the eye dropper o.< it was manga studio debut... is there a forum for that as well?

sorry, i don't know of one. there was an interesting video demo a few weeks ago using manga on youtube. u might want to see if it's still on there. i got some good tricks from it.

ok so how do i bind switch layers? i tried clicking on the layer itself but it dosent have the option, then i did the individual layers but the bones dont show up.

when i move like.... the body bit of it, the spine. it makes the eye brows and mouth move all over the place.

sooooooo..... how do i stop that?

Switch layers are bound by layer binding. See manual.

The manual can be found in the help drop-down menu at the top. There are some examples in the quick-start manual that can be useful to you. The manga video I was thinking of was manga studio webinar. It has a professional cartoonist showing his workflow in manga from draft to inking.
