A cutout style film. I don't know if this is old or just made to look old.

What a great find! It is definitely from that period, the movements of the characters and the jerkiness of cuts clearly indicates that. It is not by Lotte Reiniger: her movement would be a tad smoother, and overall production quality better. But the animator is equally skilled. It was done in Hollywood, I think.

Someone with free time at hand willing to research? At the Animation Archive?
