TAB key showing windows, and SMPT cannot be seen

Could there be a TAB-key implemented, that all windows, who are currently visible will dissapear, except for the mainwindow?
I mean, like the way, this is usual when using photoshop...
And can the widget for the current frame in the timeline be bigger in display space? When using SMTP in 1280x1024 resolution, the third unit (framecounter) cannot be seen...
