This is a project idea i took up to hopefully keep me a little busy and not bored for my summer vacation.
i plan on animating this in AS although i'm getting pretty frustrated trying to figure out how this whole thing works. ( only used traditional method animation until now) i'm sure with some more reading and questions here on the board it can be completed.


i want to have my high school mascot( blue devil) doing the robot on stage, with techno music in the background.

what do you guys think?

Background i want to use

A funny suggestion: make the tail a main actor of the break dance. It will rock!!
Let the tail make its own movements and funky imitations: like a spring, like a lighting, like a square... There is a lot of chance with the funky tail.

Make him do the moonwalk like Michael Jackson, too - and maybe some popping and locking. AS can really help you do what you see in your mind. Don't be intimidated by this software - it really is incredible. It starts you off slow and you feel like a dingbat at first... but the learning curve is very fast and you will pick it up in no time. You have definitely made the right decision getting Anime Studio. I will never do cel again.

Have you seen what Greykid has shown is possible? Why go back to cels?
