I liked it! It was a lot longer than I thought it would be -- personally, I would break it up into several smaller books so that each one had a specific focus. The pace is a bit fast for young kids too, but I like the friendly style, and the examples are good. The use of English is a bit off in places, but it's still a damn sight better than my French! Would you like me to proof-read it for you and make suggestions for changes? It's got a lot of potential...

I have done it in about 1 hour. And I have followed some of your techniques!!!!

But it still looking without live, with a poor expression... What can I should add / change?

Well done P6r. Certainly, one of the things AS nees is supporting material ~~ stuff to get folks (such as myself) up and running with AS quick. My son (age 12) is also an AS user (and fan) so the idea of a kids book for this is great. And that of course is precisely when to get young artists started...

Well done tutorial book p6r! I enjoyed it very much, well constructed and easy to follow and nice graphics, congratulations!!

I like your giraffe and the picture ! Congratulations !!!

To give more life, you already have to give light in the eyes : I only use 1 point for the ight but you have several ways to do : 2 lights or more like the mangas !!!
Then when you are finished with the head simply turn it like my cats in hte book...
Then you can play with the eyes : one bigger or smaller than the other or one closed and one opened.
Here you can play with the eyebrows too... or with the ears in different directions !
You can move the mouth too only on one side for example...

As I say it in the book : AS is wonderful becasue even after your drawing you can move things to change your character !
You have found a very good "simple" character... Then why not playing with the different parts at the end !!!

Did yo try to use the fantastic 3D technique from DK and the rotation of the head !?!

Yes, the light in its eyes, the light in it eyes... I realized that once I shut down the computer...
(it is a sunset ... where comes the light form?)

i'll try to add some lights and also follow the others tips... Let see what can I do!!

Regarding to the use of scale - turn technique I was wondering if I can do it or not. You know, theory is one thing and another is practice . Yesterday I created a small head turn using an action and only point motion. I want to add some bones and make a classic bone point turn head. I want to add point motion also to my background (not only bones!!!!). I'll let you know.

Hey p6r! you can use this image as a sample from an user who read your book and improve his drawing skills in just two days!!

@human: I like those eyes but I makes it (I think it will be she) a little "hard". I love wide open ayes! Maybe I have to change the shape.

I was so happy with the animation but when render it and find the buggy movements of the spots effect I felt so sad!

What can I do better?
Use image texture or draw every spot with shapes and animate them?

(added a shadow over the giraffe (masked) and a yellow shadow using shadow layer to simulate the sun on her back. Also added a bone for the head and some for the neck) Head turn is made by an action and rest is done with point motion... magnet tool is fantastic!!!)
