Hey guys,
After the huge success last time ( thanks Mikdog and jahnocli )
I'm posting a new (and longer) one.

..and here: finished version (on July 2007)

Sometimes I feel that I control the software and sometimes AS controls me, it's like some elements have their own life on that 3d world..

I need to improve the crying animation, add a motion blur, fix photos.. anything else?

Thanks

That's looking great to me! :D I think, with sound, the Ant crying animation will probably be fine. However, if you aren't happy with it then that's what matters. If you think you can improve on it......

I like it.

I do all the animation on one file, and will edit it at the end. I could use some scenes like in flash..

Thanks for watching :D

Very promissing animation! I like it also.
Can you fix her left eyebrow after crying scene? It distract me.

The overall drawings scene composition and framing are fine. What I should improve is the asociation of the drawings to the bones (I have to tell that is a very small improvement). For example the ant's breast gets deformed when she wake up what not happen at the initial position. You can fix it with point motion or a better bone binding. I also would like to improve elephant's walk cycle. It is a big and heavy character and should (at least) be firmely settled on the ground when walking. A plant of its feet really glued to the ground should make a very impressive effect. Don't dude to use point motion to fix those points in combination with the currect walk cycle. It will satisfy you a lot.

Good luck! and keep it up!!

Thanks Genete,
For taking the time to give some useful tips.

Yea, I agree with you..I'll fix that

I need to fix her brest at the beginning too, maybe delete some points.. hard work..makes me so horny, that I almost can't do it..

Totally agree, but just gave up that day. I guess I'll recreate the cycle, everyday I learn something.. I have an idea how to do it better.

Thanks again :D

Hi everyone, I took a break from that project to do another one - for Intel. I used AS and it went great. now, when getting back to the ant project, I feel I'm controlling the software more and more..and like it.

Well.. did some more work at AS now, but I've finished that Ant&Elephant just now.
It came up a bit narrow at youtube, I'll send a better link later.
oh.. one more thing, it's in Hebrew.. based on a joke that everybody know in Israel (not very funny actually).

Here it is:

Although I'm a dunce at Hebrew, I liked the presentation in it's narrative form. Could we get a rundown of this 'not so funny joke?'

She thanks the taxi, and he says "thanks for what?! that's 10 sheckels"

Actually my hebrew is very rusty - i didnt get most of it coz the voiceover was too fast (i left israel when i was 8 years old, 20 years ago, so my language skills are understandably limited :P)

Nice job... :)

Thanks guys,

the original joke:
The Ant needs to cross the river. Mr. Elephant come to help. After they cross the river, she say "thank you".then, the elephant reply is: "What 'thank you'!? get undressed!"

Yea.. I know.. funny :?

Well, everybody here know that story. and when some thanks to the other, sometimes he gets "what 'thank you' " in return as a joke.

In my story, she thanks the elephant before they cross the river, then he say only "what 'thank-you' " (we all know what he means). she gets angry , but remember the great service of getting a taxi from everywhere by dialing *2400. The taxi(bug) arrives and takes the ant.
After they arrive, she say "thanks"
the bug say: What Thank you!?"
ant is shocked!
"10 shekels" (like - 10 bucks) says the bug.
